Since January I have my own one-person company doing Plone. This is a non-technical talk about how that was for me.
I have worked as employee for Zest Software in The Netherlands for 17 years. I moved to Belgium 6 years ago. After a while it became clear that going solo could be a good option. Well, never really solo: in Plone you are always part of a community. And I am still working together with two former colleagues in some projects.
I thought it would be good to share some of my experiences as an independent contractor this first year.
I want to share my experience of this year, which has been rather different than the years before.
