Plone Conference
The Plone Conference, the annual gathering of the vibrant Plone community, has been a cornerstone of the open-source CMS world for nearly two decades. From the first edition, back in 2003 to its latest edition in 2023, the conference has evolved into a global celebration of collaboration, innovation, and knowledge sharing.
2023 - Eibar, Basque Country
The 2023 Plone Conference took place in Eibar, Basque Country, during October 2 to 8, 2023, with 162 attendees, and more than 1000 unique viewers in the online transmission.
2022 - Namur, Belgium
Namur, Belgium, welcomed 151 attendees to the Plone community from October 10 to 16, 2022. The conference had also more than 1400 unique viewers in its online transmission.
2021 - Online
Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the 2021 edition of the Plone Conference was held online, from October 23 to 31, with 268 attendees.
2020 - Online
In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Plone Conference transitioned to an online format in 2020, with 295 attendees participating during December 5-13.
2019 - Ferrara, Italy
Ferrara, Italy, was the setting for the 2019 Plone Conference from October 21 to 27, with 173 attendees.
2018 - Tokyo, Japan
The Plone Conference ventured to Asia, for the first time in 2019. The megacity of Tokyo, Japan, was the setting for the Conference, which took place from November 5 to 11, 2018, with around 150 attendees.
2017 - Barcelona, Catalonia
Barcelona, Catalonia, welcomed 173 attendees to the Plone community from October 16 to 22, 2017, providing a sunny backdrop for discussions and networking.
2016 - Boston, United States
Boston, United States, played host to the Plone Conference in 2016, from October 17 to 23, with 150 attendees, offering a warm welcome back to the U.S. East Coast.
2015 - Bucharest, Romania
Bucharest, Romania, became the center of Plone activities from October 12 to 18, 2015, allowing the 200 attendees to explore the wonders of Eastern Europe.
2014 - Bristol, United Kingdom
Bristol, United Kingdom, once again hosted the Plone Conference in 2014. This edition took place from October 27 to 31, with 150 attendees.
2013 - Brasilia, Brazil
In 2013, the Plone community was welcomed to South America by the Brazilian Python community. With 584 attendees, this edition was held in Brasilia, Brazil, from September 30 to October 6.
