Celebrate World Plone Day 2024!
Mark your calendars for Wednesday, April 17th, as the global Plone community gears up for another exciting edition of World Plone Day (WPD). This year, the Brazilian segment of the festivities will be hosted at the Tribunal Superior Eleitoral (TSE) in Brasilia.
Since its inception in 2008, World Plone Day has showcased a series of coordinated global meetups, seminars, and workshops to spread knowledge about Plone and foster connections within its vibrant community. This annual event now spans a 24-hour online streaming marathon, available on YouTube in various languages, featuring contributions from Plonistas across more than 15 countries.
This year, alongside the virtual celebration, local communities in Italy, Mexico, and Brazil are set to host in-person events, providing a unique opportunity for direct engagement with fellow users and developers.
In Brasilia, the PloneGov-BR community will gather at the Tribunal Superior Eleitoral (TSE) from 9 AM to Noon on April 17th. Participants will delve into the latest developments within the local community, discover how Plone is being utilized in Brazilian Electoral Justice, and engage in a live chat with community members attending the Axolote Sprint in Mexico City.
To join us in Brasilia, please register at the event page on plone.org.br. If you can't make it in person, you can still participate by tuning into the proceedings via the PloneCMS YouTube channel.
An added incentive for those attending in person is the chance to meet organizers from the upcoming Plone Conference 2024 and Python Cerrado 2024, offering a perfect opportunity to network and learn more about the upcoming conference.
Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with the Plone community in person or online. We look forward to either seeing you there or having you join us virtually!
