Plone customization in 2024: the year of the elections

Polling results play a crucial role in any pre-election period. Our South African client needed to close the time window between receiving the poll data and displaying the results. In this talk, I'll discuss how we solved this for them with Plone.

I will start my talk with some brief detail about the importance of opinion poll data in any pre-election situation, and especially in 2024 when approximately half of the world's population are eligible to vote. And then I'll explain our client's pain point and how we solved it. Screenshots of what we developed in Plone will be shown.
